THE MING TOMBS

Ming tombs, a state-level scenic spot, are located at the southern foot of tianshou mountain in changping district, 50 kilometers north of Beijing. They are the tombs of the thirteen emperors of the Ming dynasty (1368-1644). Jurisdiction within the beautiful natural landscape, cultural relics and monuments.


Daquan Scenic Spot

The Ming tombs are located in changping county, 30 kilometers north of Beijing. Ling area occupies about 120 square kilometers. The mausoleum was built here by zhu di, the founder of the Ming dynasty, as well as thirteen other emperors after him. Theyset up a solemn and orderly overall layout, named "Ming tombs", and it was listed as a world cultural heritage in 2003. Currently, there are four scenic spots open to the public. Changling, the mausoleum of emperor zhu di, was first built in 1409 and considered to be the best-preserved of the Ming tombs. Especially for the sacrifice ceremony temple, there are all expensive gold-rimmed nanmu pieces of timber in it and become, hexiang treasures now.. At present, there are "dingling unearthed cultural relics exhibition". Dingling mausoleum, the tomb of zhu yijun and two empresses of the Ming tombs, is the first mausoleum planned for archaeological excavation in China. Dingling is an underground palace building, it is deep and mysterious. In total of 3,000 pieces of precious cultural relics, such as imperial robes and gold and silver vessels, were unearthed, which are rare material materials for the study of the Ming dynasty. And Zhaoling mausoleum, is known by the public in recent years according to the site of the Ming dynasty fully restored cemetery. All of these are magnificent.
